The Perth Zoo
The zoo is a beautiful and very relaxing place to visit. Lots of trees, open grassy spaces and of course a fabulous collection of birds, reptiles and animals from all over the world.
Special care has been taken at the Perth Zoo to ensure the animals have as much space and natural habitat that a city zoo can offer. It really is a pleasurable place to stroll around and enjoy the flora and fauna with your friends and family. Of course, most animals are in enclosures that you can't enter for safety reasons but there are some areas where you can walk freely amongst the wildlife. For example the kangaroo and wallaby area.
And the great thing is that the Perth Zoo only 5 minutes drive from Perth City at 20 Labouchere Road in South Perth.
